$50 to $100
Cash and 12 months of Pro for the entry with the most community votes when voting closes on December 6.
12 months of Pro
Plus a finalist badge for your portfolio and LinkedIn, and a place in the finalists’ showcase on xrfolio.page.
3 months of Pro
6 weeks, 6 picks. The entry with the most new votes each week, announced every Thursday, and featured on XRfolio’s social channels.
$50 and 12 months of Pro
For the entrant whose entry link brings in the most valid entries (at least 3). It never affects judging.
How to enter
Three steps, free the whole way.
The builder runs in a browser tab. Nothing to install, no 3D experience needed.
Step 01
Build your room
Start from a blank room or a template and place your work in it. The guided tutorial walks you through your first room, one step at a time.

Step 02
Add at least 3 projects
A project is an object a visitor can click to open a case study: images, video, process and results. Show the work you want to be hired for.

Step 03
Publish and enter
Publish free to your own you.xrfolio.page address, then enter it here in about two minutes. Your entry gets its own page to share for votes.
Judging
Scored on the work. The community gets a say.
Ninety percent of the score comes from the judging panel. The last ten comes from community votes, converted to a percentile so a big following can only move you so far.
- Technical execution25%
Models, materials and lighting, and a room that loads fast and runs smoothly on an ordinary laptop.
- Creative vision25%
A room that could only be yours: a concept, a composition, a point of view.
- Presentation20%
A visitor can find your work, open it and understand it in under a minute.
- Hireability20%
A clear role, real case studies with process and results, and an obvious way to contact you. Would a judge book the interview?
- Community vote10%
Your share of community votes, converted to a 0 to 100 percentile rank.
How a winner is picked
- Screening. XRfolio staff check every entry against the rules and the rubric and send the top 20 to the judges.
- Judging. Each judge scores the shortlist independently between Dec 1 and Dec 11. Scores are averaged.
- Community. Votes add the final 10%. Votes from fake or duplicate accounts are removed before anything is counted.

Questions
Before you ask.
Does it cost anything?
No. The free plan is enough to build, publish and enter, and paying for Pro does not help your score. The “Built with XRfolio” badge on free sites is expected and never counts against you.
Who can enter?
Anyone 18 or older, wherever the competition is legal. People who work for XRfolio (contractors included), the judges, and their immediate families and households cannot enter. The official rules have the full list.
I’m a student. Can I enter?
Yes, if you are 18 or older. Tick the student box when you enter. Teachers who want to run this as a class project can write to support@xrtech.dev.
What counts as a project?
An object in your room that a visitor can click to open a write-up. Decorations do not count. You need at least 3, and the entry form checks this for you. The work has to be yours, or work you have the right to show, with collaborators credited.
Can I use templates and library models?
Yes, for the room and the props around your work. The projects themselves should be your own. Judges score what you did with the room, so a template left as it came will not score well.
Can I keep editing after I enter?
Yes, until entries close on Sunday, November 29. After that, leave it as it is until the winners are announced. Fixing a broken link is fine if you tell us.
How does voting work?
Anyone with a free XRfolio account can vote for as many entries as they like, once each, from Oct 15 to Dec 6. You cannot vote for yourself. Votes decide Community Choice and the weekly picks, and count for 10% of the final score.
I already have a portfolio on ArtStation, Behance or my own site.
Bring that work into a room. Each project can link back to your other pages, so the room becomes the front door to everything else.
How are prizes paid?
Cash goes out by PayPal or Wise within 30 days of a winner confirming their eligibility. Winners are responsible for their own taxes, and US winners of $600 or more will be asked for a W-9. Pro is added to your XRfolio account.
Do I keep the rights to my work?
Yes. You give XRfolio permission to show your entry’s name, screenshots and link to promote the competition, and nothing more.
Your next interviewer is going to open a link.
Make it one they remember. Free to build, free to publish, free to enter.
